Meet Second Nature

Tabitha A.

Tabitha has been an animal lover from a very young age, and that love is what led her to become the owner and founder of Second Nature Pet Care. With nearly a decade of experience in the pet care industry, clients can be confident in her extensive knowledge and ability to work with pets of all kinds. Her skills include, but are not limited to: working with dogs of 100+ lbs, working with leash-reactive dogs, working with territorial dogs, working with dogs off-leash, distribution of both oral and injectable medications, CPR-certification, and, puppy training.

When Tabitha isn’t tending to the pets entrusted in her care, she’s caring for, and playing frisbee with, her own precious pup, Buddy (the unofficial mascot of Second Nature Pet Care). Outside of her love of animals and her work with Second Nature, she also coaches a high school soccer team in the Portland area; she is a lifelong player and lover of the sport. She also loves gardening and took it up when she moved to Portland 5 years ago. Most mornings in the summer, you can find her tending to her garden.

In her free time, Abby enjoys open-world video games, exploring local thrift shops, and spending time with her partner and their senior cat, Echo.
