Walks
Second Nature focuses on individual and small group walks, which, we believe, are ideal for most dogs. It provides them with the mental and physical stimulation they need in a safe and peaceful way.
It’s especially ideal for dogs with reactivity concerns, mobility issues, dogs with generalized anxiety, and pups who just love their alone time. $2 fee for each additional dog from the same household.
Does your dog have a buddy in the neighborhood? Inquire about scheduling walks together to receive a discount.

Overnights
Heading out of town? Second Nature offers in home pet-sitting to keep your pet as comfortable as possible. Each overnight includes breakfast and dinner, as well as morning and pre-bedtime bathroom breaks. Additional walks or visits can be added on to your overnight service at a 10% discount.
Prefer boarding? We are able to take individual dogs on a case-by-case basis.

Hikes
We currently offer small group hikes on Tuesday an Thursday mornings, in and around the Portland area. Home pick-up and drop-off is included. Hikes are a minimum of 1 hour from arrival to departure.
4 dog maximum on hikes.

Other services
Drop -in Visits
A quick visit to check on pets and give them some extra love. Add them to overnights or use them as stand-alone visits for more independent pets. A great option for cat owners who prefer not to book a sitter.
